Ball Green Methodist Church and Chatterley Centre
Welcome to:

Ball Green Methodist Church

Wilding Road,
Ball Green,
Stoke on Trent,
Staffordshire.

Our church is located in a village at the northern tip of Stoke on Trent. We are one of nine churches in the Burslem Circuit, part of the Chester
BUILDING FOR A BETTER FUTURE
Part of our new building Our old church was opened in 1908 and despite constant renovations required extensive repairs to the roof and floors. We also had severe damp problems.

In December 2000 a decision was taken by church members together with the community of Ball Green to replace the existing building with a new purpose built community centre and worship area. The building programme began on the 4th November 2002, with completion scheduled for July and a public opening on 9th August 2003 (see Our OPENING DAY PICTURES and NEW BUILDING FEATURES pages).

The last service in the old Chapel was held on Sunday 27th September 2002.The preacher was our own minister the Rev. Jeffrey Short.
